Overall it was okay. The lady did slap my buttock then asked if it was okay. When she should have asked first. After she understood I wanted a normal massage, the rest of the massage went normally. Just be aware that that awkwardness could happen.
Have had two-1 hour massages in the last week. Both ladies did a wonderful jobs. Very thorough with full body deep pressure. I Asked both to focus on my shoulder pain. If you are wanting physical therapy massage for specific areas, this might not be where you need to go. I think my requests were lost in translation.
If I am in the Foothills area I like this location. The therapists do rotate shifts but for the moment Tina and Amy are working. Both have excellent skills. This location is large and upscale. Like some of my other favorites it is 100% ceramic tile and I have come in early and observed cleaning and sanitizing daily. Only time can provide for continuity in good hygiene. Massage therapy has been part of my routine along with the gym, long driving trips, and arthritis. These therapists have the strength and skills necessary to affect the problem joints and muscles.
